At Mulberry School, funds raised annually makes up roughly seven percent of our operating budget. Two major fundraising events bring in the vast majority of those dollars.
In the fall, we kick off annual giving with the "Grow Our Mulberry Tree" campaign. Our goal is 100% participation -- every family in every class. We emphasize participation over dollars collected. Each year, our families come through, showing their commitment to the school. Contributions to the annual giving campaign are not required, merely encouraged.
In the spring, our community gathers together for an adults-only dinner dance and auction called "Steppin' Out." Every Mulberry family contributes an auction item, ranging from hair braiding and cookie baking to ski cabins and luxury get-aways. The revelry really gets going at the themed event. Recent themes include Cowboy Up, On the Plank, and The Orient Express. While attendance at Steppin' Out is not required, it is a party not to be missed!
